City Hall Confirms That Work On The Long-Awaited Events Centre Will Not Begin Until At Least June
The local authority confirmed that an agreement about additional funding for the €80 million project has still not been finalised
The Echo reports that construction will not start until after the local elections in May.
BAM is seeking an additional €10 million funding for the project, however there is a disagreement over whether or not the money will be a repayable loan.
