City Jet looking to expand services out of Cork

It comes ahead of the airlines first flight on their new route to London city from Cork.

City Jet has confirmed that the airline is in talks with Cork Airport about increasing routes and growing their presence in Cork.

The first flight on the new route to London City Airport out of Cork will take off on October 1st and CityJet bosses say at this early stage both business and
leisure bookings are steady.

The airline says the strongest connectivity out of Cork is onto Florence but passengers can use the London City link as a hub to fly out to destinations such as Paris, Antwerp,  Amsterdam and Nantes.

The airline is already looking at expanding their services out of Cork and operating flights to sun destinations in the Summertime.

Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Martina McDermott-Hurley of City Jet says  they're examining destinations for the Summer season next year.
