It seems the UK has become obsessed with our lovely game of hurling. Even the Queen is getting involved! It has been reported today that trees on Her Majesty's Sandringham Estate are being cut to help keep up with demand for around 35,000 hurleys a year. Irish manufacturers are very reliant on imported ash with about 70% of it being brought in.
