Cobh estate the latest to take a stand against water meters
Locals in Cobh have vowed to continue their fight against the installation of water meters in the town for as long as it takes. Tensions rose at Rushbrook Manor housing estate this morning as Irish Water staff were blocked access to stop cock valves by locals and residents. Gardaí arrived on the scene and protesters called the Health and Safety authority amid concerns about the presence of Irish Water in the estate.
