Concern Has Been Expressed About Proposed New Measures To Tighten Planning Legislation

The Housing Minister's plans will add further regulations and restrictions to current planning laws

A West Cork campaigner who was instrumental in the fight against a plastics factory in Skibbereen says under the current plans, the Save Our Skibbereen group would have found it very difficult to take a legal challenge against the facility.
