Concern Has Been Expressed About Proposed New Measures To Tighten Planning Legislation
The Housing Minister's plans will add further regulations and restrictions to current planning laws

A West Cork campaigner who was instrumental in the fight against a plastics factory in Skibbereen says under the current plans, the Save Our Skibbereen group would have found it very difficult to take a legal challenge against the facility.
Speaking to RedFM News youth activist Skibbereen's Alicia O'Sullivan says the fight against the plastics factory proved that small communities can prevail, and the Housing Minister's new plans undermine all that:
