Concerns raised over living standards of private homes Leeside
According to the City Council 57% of private homes failed to meet local authority inspection last year
Over half of all private rental homes in Cork, failed to meet basic standards in 2016.
That's according to the city council who described the figure as "worrying", saying private houses are necessary in order to meet the needs of the housing market in Cork at present.
