Concerns raised over rising number of homelessness in Cork

Cork Simon says homelessness Leeside has been at a crisis level for some time now

The Cork and Kerry region has seen a 22% rise in the number of homeless families last month.

According to the latest figures released by the Department of Housing, 293 adults were in emergency accommodation in Cork in February, a rise of 64 on the same month last year.
