Congestion In Douglas Will Choke The Village Unless Urgent Action Is Taken

Local Councillor Deirdre Forde says dereliction and traffic jams need to be addressed to revitalise the area

Local councillor Deirdre Forde says dereliction, traffic jams and a lack of public facilities all need to be addressed to revitalise the area and provide a better quality of life for locals.

She's urging the chief executive of the City Council Ann Doherty to sit down with stakeholders in the village to discuss issues facing the village and draw up a plan for the 27,000 strong population

Speaking to RedFM News Cllr Forde says locals have been complaining to her that Douglas is dying on it's feet
