Console phone line still in operation
People availing of the services of Console are being advised that the phone line is still in operation.
Serious questions have been raised about spending at the suicide charity - following allegations its founder and his family spent almost half a million euro on foreign travel, designer clothes and dental work.
Investigations of Console's governance are underway by the HSE, an external team, the Charities Regulator and Gardai.
Minister with responsibility for Mental Health Helen McEntee says Console's services are still very much needed:
