Cork abuse survivor goes public
A Corkman who was the victim of sexual abuse as a child has gone public in an effort to get an apology from the State. Daniel Cronin was abused when he was 11 years old by a teacher in a school when he attended extra tuition classes during school hours. Daniel eventually told his mother about the abuse he was suffering, she got the authorities involved and it took two years to go to court before his abuser was eventually jailed and he has since died. Speaking on the Neil Prendeville show Daniel says at this stage he wants the State to publicly acknowledge that what happened to him as a primary school child was wrong Press PLAY button above to listen to the audio
