Cork branded "capital of the Irish sex industry"
One of the country's most notorious websites advertising sex for sale has branded Cork as the "capital of the Irish sex industry". The website which is hosted outside the state has increased the number of prostitues available in Cork from 70 to 90. It comes as an undercover Garda operation located brothels in the Crescent ares and close to St Augustine's Church in the city centre. Speaking to Cork's RedFM, Mary Crilly of the Cork Sexual Violence Centre says that these girls are suffering and there needs to be a change in attitudes: (Click above for audio)
