Bridges all over the city centre are being targeted by anti-water charges campaigners this morning who are holding what will likely be one of their last public demonstrations before next week's national protest.
Signs and banners have been put in place in the last hour in the city centre and in Cobh in protest at the new fee.
It comes after turbulent month for Irish Water which failed key financial independence tests and released payment figures showing a 46% compliant rate.
A national protest being held in Dublin next week is expected to be the bigger than the last one and double the amount of Cork campaigners are expected to travel to the capital.
Speaking to RedFM News Cork Right to Water Spokesperson Noreen Murphy says the support so far on the bridges has been great:
