Cork Business Association Have Objected To The Plans For A €100 Million Retail Centre In East Cork
Midleton traders say they're concerned about the potential impact the facility may have on the town
Cork Business Association have formally objected to the plans for a €100 million retail centre in East Cork.
The plans for the Kildare outlet style centre, which will be located close to the IDA industrial estate at Killacloyne in Carrigtwohill, moved step closer to reality last month after Cork County Council voted to amend the County Development Plan 2014.
However the CBA say this is a significant change in the retail strategy jointly adopted by both local authorities as far back as 2013, and have submitted an objection to the proposal.
