Cork Childcare Workers Say A Lack Of Funding And Low Pay Is Threatening The Survival Of The Sector
Thousands of early years workers walked off the job today
They joined a national protest to highlight what they say is an industry in crisis that needs urgent reform.
Childcare workers from creches, playschools and pre-schools say a lack of pay is leading to a recruitment and retention crisis, with many unable to afford to stay in the sector for long.
