Cork City Council Have Announced A Crackdown On Illegal Waste Disposal
The Irish Examiner reports that 36 cases of alleged breach of waste by-laws are under investigation, following an operation on the northside
Around 300 homes in Knocknaheeny, Mayfield and Blackpool were inspected following the introduction of laws governing how and when domestic waste bins should be presented for collection.
It follows calls from local representatives and residents for the council to tackle the issue which has been described as an epidemic.
