Cork City Council Is Advising of Parking Restrictions Due To Expected High Tides
 
                            The City Council say there is a significant risk of flooding again in the city this evening.
Cork City Council is advising that no parking will be permitted along Morrison’s Island, Union Quay, Father Matthew Quay and Frenches Quay from lunchtime until 7am tomorrow morning due to expected high tides 
Motorists are being urged to plan ahead for their travel routes this afternoon and evening as Wandesford Quay, South Terrace, Kyrls Quay and Lavitts Quay will be closed to traffic from 4pm until 6.30 this evening
Low lying streets in parts of the city and county were underwater this morning following the arrival of ex tropical storm Sebastian and City Council say there is a significant risk of flooding again in the city this evening
High tide is due to hit shortly before 5.15 and again tomorrow morning at 5.34am - the high tides combined with a tidal surge and strong winds forecast over the next few days are resulting in higher tide levels
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to take caution in coastal areas.
