Cork City Is Not Planting Enough Trees 

That's according to Cork Trees Trust which has revealed that Cork city council plants just 200 trees a year

They say that's just a fraction of what other city councils plant, in Dublin city alone 5000 trees were planted last year. 

Cork city also uses 200 trees a year meaning, the trust says, the city is 'effectively standing still'. 

Cork Trees Trust is calling on the city council to adopt a tree policy.
