Cork claims three of top prizes at National Sustainable Energy Awards

Cork County Council, Johnson & Johnson Campus Ireland and Dell EMC accepted awards for their efforts in sustainable energy
Cork took home three of the top prizes at the National Sustainable Energy Awards this week.
Cork County Council won the Public Sector Award for being the first Local Authority in Ireland to develop and implement a fully certified Energy Management System.
Johnson & Johnson Campus Ireland claimed this years overall Leadership award for it's efforts towards reducing CO2 by 20% by the year 2020.
And, Ovens based company Dell EMC accepted the Large Industry Award for it's ongoing commitment to reducing energy usage through a range of energy efficiency measures.
Speaking to RedFM News Cork County Mayor Councillor Seamus Mc Grath says the council has made a huge effort over the past few years to reduce energy consumption.
