Cork could be set to get another city centre hotel

Plans for a 194-bed hotel on Camden Quay have been lodged with the City Council
The Echo reports that the developers are seeking to refurbish, conserve and change the use of the former McKenzies building which operating as the circuit courthouse for a time on Camden Quay, Camden Place and Pine Street
The proposal includes a roof top terrace and restaurant, a cafe with mezzaine level on the ground floor along with a gym and meeting rooms
This would become the latest hotel to open in the city, at the end of last year The Dean which is part of the Horgan's Quay rejuvenation project opened it's doors
