Cork Crash Victim Named

Gardai have named the 27 year old woman killed in a single vehicle collision in Donoughmoure yesterday. Geraldine Murphy from Kilpatrick, Donoughmore was fatally injured when the Ford Transit van she was driving collided with a wall in Stuake at around 1am. Ms Murphy suffered serious injuries and was rushed to CUH where she later died. The passenger in the car - a 29 year old man also from Donoughmore was injured in the crash - but his injuries are not serious. Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Macroom station.
