Cork dancer to perform at Riverdance at the Marquee

Six times World dancing Champion and Cork man John Lonergan is to perform in front of a home audience when Riverdance plays Live at the Marquee this Summer.. John grew up in Cork City and started dancing at the age of 6 and throughout his dancing career, he has travelled all over Ireland, Britian and the US to take part in competitions.. The dates for Riverdance at the Marquee were announced late last year but demand for tickets has meant that a matinee on Saturday 13 June has been added to the bill.. Since Riverdance began performances in Dublin back in 1995, the show has played over 11,000 performances and been seen live by 25 million people all over the world Speaking to RedFM News John Lonergan says the Marquee performances will be very special for him Press PLAY button above to listen to the audio
