Cork Farmers Travelling To Dáil To Take Part In Major Demonstration This Afternoon
As many as 100 tractors are expected to take over the area around Merrion Square and Kildare Street, which has been closed to traffic.
The group of farmers say they're protesting over a number of issues including the carbon tax and the importation of meat from other countries.
Cork based Ger Dineen from the Beef Plan Movement told RedFM News that farmers are angry over the lack of progress on the beef talks and say farmers are continuing to be squeezed financially and this is having a negative impact on the local economy:
