Cork Film Festival worth over €2.5 million to Cork economy

This year's Cork Film Festival is worth over €2.5 million euro to the local economy..
The Festival, which is the oldest of it's kind in the country, will run in Cork from Friday for the next nine nights and will showcase over 200 movies in various venues across the city.
Over 70 feature films, 52 documentaries and 100 shorts will make up this years event, and organisers expect up to 15,000 people to visit the city over the 10 days.
This year the focus is very much on home grown talent, with Irish film's featuring heavily in the programme.
Speaking to RedFM news Festival Creative Director James Mulligan says Cork will gain financially and culturally from the event:
