Cork Fine Gael Senator Says He Supports Taoiseach's Call For Dáil To Investigate Dara Murphy's Expenses
Jerry Buttimer was speaking after the Cork North Central TD stepped down from his role on Tuesday night
The former Fine Gael Deputy, who has taken up a job in the European Parliment, was criticised for claiming full expenses despite not regularly being in the Dáil over the past two years.
It's reported Dara Murphy is entitled to over €500,000 euro in taxpayer funded termination and pension payments.
Speaking to RedFM News, Senator Jerry Buttimer says he's disappointed by the controversy and has called on Dara Murphy to clarify the situation:
