Cork Girl Receives Funding For Cancer Treatment
A little girl from Glanmire who has a brain tumour, is set to get treatment at a top clinic in Boston. It comes after an American benefactor offered to fund the cancer saving treatment for Alisha Savage. The 3 year olds parents, John and Michelle Savage, have described Eileen Tye as their guardian angel after she agreed to cover Alisha's medical bills. The family have relocated to Boston and Alisha will undergo treatment in the coming months at the renowned Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
