Dr Nick Flynn was speaking as it was revealed that the NHS is targeting Cork GP's as part of a major recruitment drive across the UK over the next 18 months.
He believes that Ireland will lose trainee and established GP's to the initiative unless the acute and planned care at hospitals is seperated and he says GP's contracts also need to be revised
Speaking to RedFM News Dr Flynn says the contracts they are operating on are over 40 years old and are not fit for purpose
