Cork graduate appeals to government over SNAs

The 24-year-old is calling for no further cuts to the hours of special needs assistants.
A Cork student has appealed to the incoming government not to further cut hours for special needs assistants.
Jessica Ní Mhaoláin, who is visually impaired, has just graduated from UCC with a Master degree in Government and says it simply wouldn't have been possible without the support from SNAs in primary and secondary school.
The 24-year-old's Facebook post about the issue has been shared thousands of times and coincides with a campaign by parents on the northside of the city to prevent cuts to SNAs at several primary schools.
Speaking to RedFM News Jessica says without an SNA she would never have reached third level education.
