Cork group who campaigned against plans for a solar windfarm in Kinsale concerned about the loss of prime agricultural lands to solar farms
It comes after an Bord Pleanala granted planning permission for a 32 acre Solar Farm in Farrangalway despite strong opposition from The Jagoes Mills Action Group
The green light was also contrary to a recommendation from the planning board's own inspector to refuse planning for the development.
The group have ruled out proceeding with judicial review citing costs.
Speaking to RedFM News Aoife Carlin from the group says legislation in the area is urgently needed.
