Cork Has Become The First City In Ireland To Join The Global Rainbow Cities Network
The group of cities have pledged to protect and enhance the rights of the LGBTI+ community
The Echo reports that a number of ceremonies were held Leeside over the weekend to commemorate International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia, which kick-started Cork's 10th LGBTI+ Awareness Week.
Many events were redesigned to fall under the Covid-19 social distancing guidelines.
