"Cork Has Been Left Behind When It Comes To Healthcare"
That's according to Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald who was Leeside yesterday
Deputy McDonald was visiting Cork University Hospital where the ongoing trolley crisis shows no sign of abating.
Recent figures by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation rank the CUH among the top hospitals battling overcrowding.
Speaking to RedFM News Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald took aim at the turning of the sod on the stalled Events Centre and says the same can't happen when it comes to a new hospital:
