Cork in line for another jobs boost

A US company is to create up to 100 jobs in Ireland as part of a 34 million euro expansion.

Xilinx intends to recruit 75 senior engineering staff in its Cork and Dublin plants. 

25 further roles will need to be filled across a broad range of business disciplines to support its Irish growth.

The development is being formally announced in Dublin today by the Tánaiste Frances Fitzgerald.
