Cork in line to set the pace for the sale of electric cars in 2015

It's hoped Cork will set the pace for the sale of electric cars in 2015. The Drive4Zero initiative which was launched in Cork today offers a range of incentives to drivers including free parking and a doubling of public charge points. Grant-aid is being available to enable the installation of home charge points as well as atttractive car finance deals. It's also believed the scheme will boost Cork's chances of securing the 2017 European Green Capital title.
