Cork Mother raises thousands for refugees in Calais.

A Cork mother involved in initiative to being aid to refugees in Calais is describing it as a 'people to people' campaign.
Tracey Ryan says the operation cuts out the middle man and they will bring donations of food, clothes, and medical supplies to Calais at the end of the month for the refugees.
The initiative was launched by the Douglas woman and her friends following weeks of media reports about the situation of refugees fleeing their countries in a bid to cross the border to Europe.
To date, the Ireland Calais Refugee Solidarity page on 'Go-Fund-Me' has raised over 46,000 euro and they are accepting other donations at the Marina Commercial Park in the city all day today.
Speaking to RedFM News, Tracey says people supporting the campaign can be confident that their donations will go directly to the refugees:
