Cork Mother says Enable Ireland has been a life line for her family as charity launches new campaign

RedFM's Mission Enable 30 day challenge launched this week.

That's Cork mother Susan Beecher whose daughter Scarlet is a service user at Enable Ireland.

The nine-year-old was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was just 18 months old and her mother says the charity has been a life line for their family. 

Last evening Enable Ireland launched a their new 'Mission Enable' challenge in conjunction with Cork's RedFM where the public are being encouraged to reach a personal goal in 30 days while donating €1 each day to the charity. 

It's hoped the funds raised will go towards reducing the €1.7 million shortfall in funds needed for the charity's new children's centre in Curraheen. 

Speaking to RedFM News Susan says the new centre will have a hydrotherapy pool, which to Scarlet means freedom:
