Cork Mum appeals for help in finding a new home as her son becomes too heavy to lift

A Cork Mum says she's hopeful a public appeal will help provide a functional home for her son as well as offer him independence.

Caroline Forrest says she's no longer able to lift her son Jayden, who has Cerebral Palsy, up and down the stairs in her home which is not equipped for the the needs of the eight-year-old.

She's trying to sell her home and needs to move as soon as possible but says financially she has been unable to find a suitable home.
