Cork Mum describes living with "emptiness" after her son's death

The mother of a 20 year old man from Dublin Hill who died by suicide says she has been left with lots of unanswered questions since her son's death. Daniel Mulcahy had been missing for 27 days before his body was finally recovered from the River Lee He had worked as a barman in the Oliver Plunkett Bar, and was last seen leaving his house in Blackpool heading towards the city centre around 4 o’clock on the 9th of February last His Mum Claire says he had been the victim of bullying from a young age but she's unsure if this is what drove him to take the action he took She told the Neil Prendeville Show that she believes Daniel just wasn't thinking straight Press PLAY button above to listen to the audio
