Cork nurse's killer sentenced to a minimum of 23 years in prison
Alexander Pacteau sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 23 years before parole
'Women are safe from harm from the truly evil coward who took our beautiful Karen's precious life'.
Those are the words of the Buckley family after Alexander Pacteau was sentenced to life in prison, with a minimum of 23 years before parole, for the murder of their daughter.
Pacteau will serve a minimum of 23 years in prison for the murder of the nurse from Mourenabbey earlier this year.
Sentencing the 21 year old, Judge Lady Rae said she found it extremely difficult to find the words to describe his dreadful crimes.
