Cork on flood alert
There are fears that high tides and poor weather conditions could lead to further flooding in the city centre. It comes as Cork City Council have put a flood alert in place until Sunday evening for flood prone areas such as those along the qauys. Flooding at the begining of the month saw damage to some homeowners and businesses while some parked cars on the South Mal were also caught up in the floods.
