Cork Outsourcing Firm Pulls Plans for US Site Over Controversial Law

Voxpro has withdraw it's plans to locate at a site in North Carolina
A Cork based outsourcing company has confirmed that they have withdrawn from a potential deal with a US company over its "bathroom bill".
Under the controversial law, which was introduced in North Carolina last year, transgender people must use the bathrooms that correspond to their biological sex on their birth certificates.
The co-founder of Voxpro, which employs over 1500 people in Cork, has confirmed that a site in North Carolina was in the pipeline but as a result of the law the plans have been scrapped.
It's believed the law could cost the US over $3 billion dollars in lost business over the next decade.
Co-founder of Voxpro Dan Kiely says the law runs contrary to the company's core values and he paid tribute to his diverse workforce which is says "makes them who we are".
