Cork passengers stranded in Phuket slam airline
Two Cork tourists are among 300 passengers stranded in Phuket since Saturday. Cork Hurler Conor O' Sullivan, his partner and approximately 20 other Irish people are desperately trying to get home after their flights to Abu Dhabi were cancelled due to a massive sandstorm that has also caused fog. Passengers claim that communication from Eithad Airlines has been very poor and they have been given no indictaion as to when they're likely to fly home or confirmation that they can be re-routed with another airline AUDIO: Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Conor has described the situation as very frustrating and says he still doesn't know when he'll get home: Click the PLAY button above to hear.
