Cork Penny Dinners feed 200 on Christmas Day
Almost 200 people used the services of Cork Penny Dinners on Christmas Day.
The numbers of people availing of the service has increased dramatically this year, with over 150 people arriving at the charity for a hot meal every day.
The profile of those calling to the charity has changed, the "new poor" are those who have jobs, but are unable to feed themselves and their family once all the bills have been paid.
Speaking to RedFM News Cork Penny Dinners' Caitriona Twomey says they were prepared for the extra numbers this Christmas Day:
