Cork Taxi Drivers Leaving Industry Because Of Costs and Regulation

35 taxi drivers in Cork have left the industry in the last year because of rising insurance costs and regulation.
This exodus has led to warnings being issued by Cork Taxi Council that taxis will be obsolete in five years

He says the high costs meaning many drivers are not able to earn a living and are just working to pay off the monthly repayments on their car..
