Cork TD Calls To Ensure People On City Boundary Don't See Rise In Car Insurance

A Cork TD has called on the Finance Minister to ensure people living at the edge of the city boundary do not see a rise in the cost of their car insurance.

Cork North East TD Aindrias Moynihan made the call during a special Dáil debate on the cost of motor insurance.

He says people living in boundary areas such a Carrigrohane, Model Farm Road and Ballincollig are worried by the potential for a hike in premiums.

Speaking to RedFM News, Deputy Moynihan says residents are looking for reassurance on the matter
