Cork TD: Report On Winter Funding Raises Sharp And Uncomfortable Questions For Health Minister
Mick Barry TD made the comments in the wake of a report which found that €40 million funding for the winter of 2017/'18 came too late to avert Christmas trolley Crisis.
The report has recommended that winter funding be signed off by the end of June or September at the very latest.
Deputy Barry says Simon Harris allocated an extra €10 million in October this year and says a request to the Department of Health for more money is expected in the next few days.
