Cork Teen Dies In Farming Accident
The Health and Safety Authority and Gardai have launched separate investigations into a farm accident in West Cork yesterday in which a 14 year old boy was killed. The 14 year old boy was fatally injured when he became trapped between a digger and a wall on the farm near Church Cross near Skibbereen yesterday evening. The alarm was raised and the emergency services were called but the boy, one of four children, was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be carried out today - to establish the exact cause of death. The Health and Safety Authority have begun an investigation into the fatality while gardai have also begun their own inquiry.
