Cork teenager speaks out about impact of diabetes on her life and lack of services in CUH

A Cork teenager who was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes has spoken out to RedFM News about the impact the lack of services in Cork University Hospital is having on her life. 

Sarah Hartnett from Ballincollig says she can't live a normal life like her friends because her access to the clinic in the CUH is limited as it's understaffed. 

A protest was held outside the gates of the hospital this week where parents and children with diabetes called for increased investment in the service, and a child psychologist.
