Cork teens warned about sharing images online

It follows a case where an explicit photo of a Cork teenager was forwarded to hundreds of others.
The owner of a Cork based internet safety website is warning young people of the dangers of sharing images on social media.
Michel Colachi of immunize-NET made the comments on foot of a recent case in which an explicit photo of a Cork teenager was sent to hundreds of others after she sent it to her boyfriend.
The 13-year-old girl was left distraught but unable to take any action to retrieve the image which was shared on Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter.
AUDIO: Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show, Michel says the girl at the centre of this case believed she was safe as she put the image up on Snapchat.
