Cork TY Students gather for mental health workshop

A survivor of troubled teenage years struck the right note with 2,000 transition year students at a Suicide Aware workshop in the city, when he opened up about his experience Counsellor and musician Eamon Keane admitted that his inability to cope with his emotions led him to being expelled from school as a teen after he struck a teacher.. In a frank and open discussion Eamon catalogued his sprial into drugs and alcohol abuse and his feelings of isolation before he eventually sought help which has now enabled him have a successful career and a happy life...
