Cork University Hospital most overcrowded in the country
Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded in the country today.
Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show 48 people are currently receiving treatment on trolleys in the Emergency Department.
The Mercy University Hospital is also under pressure, with 21 patients awaiting admission in the ED.
The INMO says 501 patients are on trolleys in ED's across the country.
