Cork University Hospital Saw Almost 10% Of The Country's Flu Patients This Winter Season

160 people were admitted to CUH with flu in recent months

There have been 40 flu-related deaths in Ireland since October last year, the majority of those aged 65 years and older.

Meanwhile Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded hospital in Ireland today with 55 patients waiting on a bed.

Overall there are 617 admitted patients are waiting for beds across Ireland today.
